DIME Hand Hand Sketched Floral Collection By Reen Wilcoxson From Embroidery Garden

These 25 beautiful hand sketched floral designs were created using a raw edge applique technique. Raw edge applique does not have a satin stitch or decorative finish along the edges. The applique pieces are stitched down close to the edge using a running stitch that makes a few passes. The fabric is prepared with a fusible to hold it securely down. There will be a small amount of fraying. This is the nature of raw edge applique.
